Question about Chaturanga alignment

In the Vinyasa class, I'm struggling with my Chaturanga form. My shoulders dip too low and I feel a strain. What's the best way to modify this or build the necessary strength? Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi FlowSeeker, this is a very common challenge! The best modification is to drop your knees to the mat as you lower down. This allows you to build strength in your arms and shoulders without compromising form. Focus on keeping your elbows tucked in close to your ribs and your body in a straight line from head to knees. Over time, you'll build the strength for the full pose. Don't rush it!
